Rental Terms
Age Requirement
For groups A–C customers must be over 21. Credit card holders minimum age 21, for cash renters minimum age 23.
Driver's License
A valid driving licence held for at least one year is required.
Minimum Rental
One day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of daily rate.
Deposits
Deposits for estimated charges are required at the beginning of rental. No deposit is required from credit card holders honored in Autorad.
Insurance
All authorized drivers of Autorad vehicles are covered against third parties (excluding passengers in Autorad vehicles) for death, injury or damage to property.
Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.)
The renter's liability for damage to the Autorad vehicle can be reduced to €300 for groups A, B, C and €450 for all other groups by paying an additional daily fee: €10 for groups A, B, C, J and €15 for group G.
Damages
Damages (e.g. the carter, gearbox, tyres) caused by careless driving are not covered by any insurance.
Theft Protection (T.P.)
Theft protection is an optional service which, if accepted, relieves the renter from all financial responsibility for loss or damage to the Autorad vehicle by or following theft. Daily charge: €5 for groups A, B, C and €10 for group G.
Personal Accident Insurance (L.I.S.)
Available for a charge of €5 per day.
Baby Seats
Available on request for children up to 3 years old, free of charge.
Availability
Car models are according to original planning. Delivery problems however may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.
Delivery and Collection Charges
Early/night deliveries/collections after working hours (09:00–21:00) carry a charge of €20.
Ferrying the Car
An advance written authorization from Autorad is required.
Taxes
All rates are subject to 13% VAT and 2% Municipality Tax, which must be paid by the renter.
Gasoline
Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter.
Traffic Fines
Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during the rental period are borne solely by the renter.
